He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Brown and Reva Brown (May); and his brother Robert Brown. He is survived by: his wife Judith Shiley; his children, Jeffrey Brown of Arcadia and Jenna Kramb (Mark) of Findlay; his grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas Kramb; and his siblings, Melvin Brown of Findlay, Ricky Brown of Upper Sandusky, Ruth Prater of Findlay, Nora Smarr of Findlay, Carolyn Rice (Dan) of Indiana, Marsha Schlosser (Wayne) of Columbus and Cindy Fry of Georgia.
