He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Mortensen; his wife Marlene VanWagner; and his sister Marilyn Ray. He is survived by: his children, Rick Mortensen (Susan) of Cincinnati, OH, Renita Cheney (late Luke) of Belle Fourche, SD and Doug Mortensen of North Bend, WA; his grandchildren, Gabriel (Janelle), Caleb (Sandra), Benjamin (Sheila), Jonathan, Elisabeth (Russell), Sarah, Stephenie, Emmanuel, Thomas, Jaclyn (Ryan) and Jennifer (Adam); his great grandchildren, ShayLynn, Brianna, Clint, Seth, Kayla, Clyde, Quinton, Janae, LeShen and Colton; and his brothers, Robert Mortensen and Jimmy Mortensen.
