He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Shelton and Alma Shelton (Hoffman). He is survived by: his former wife Ethel Holliger (Taylor); his sons, Kenneth D. Shelton (Ann) and Mark A. Shelton (Lisa); his grandchildren, David Shelton (Claire), Kendal Shaffer (John), Michael Shelton and Andrew Shelton; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Alana, Haylee Shaffer, Jacob, Olivia Shelton and Anikan Shelton; his sister Shirley Griffin; his sibling's children, Dan Griffin and Lisa King-Staugh; and his close friend Martha Myers.
