She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Lawrence Kagy and Florence Kagy (Sheidler); her husband Paul E. Rehus; her sisters, Doris Hoffman and Caroline Ruhe Kagy; and her brother-in-law Ned Meier.

She is survived by: her sons, Darrin Rehus (Karrie) of Findlay and Mark Rehus (Nila) of Findlay; her granddaughter Paula Birkmire (Greg) of McComb; her stepdaughters, Jody Hertel (Bob) of Benton Ridge and Lori Nagy (Chris) of Findlay; her sisters, Donna Collingwood (Joe) of McComb and Marlene Meier of Sunset Beach, NC; and her brother-in-law Mel Hoffman of Holgate. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Darlene's name may be made to the Van Buren, Ohio FFA.
