He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. and Ethel M. (Shoemaker); his wife Martha J. Insley; and his brother Johnny Hamlin. He is survived by: his children, Edward E. Hamlin (Linda) of Kalamazoo, MI and Donna M. Kleiver (James) of Eaton Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Karena VanDuyn (Michael), Rodney Kleiver, Justin Kleiver (Taylor), Amanda Reed (Mitchell) and David Hamlin (Rocio); and his brothers, Paul Hamlin (Marjorie) and Norman Hamlin (Sarah Osborn). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren with the 13th great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the College First Church of God (1100 N Main St, Findlay, OH 45840). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to College First Church of God or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
