She was predeceased by: her father Francisco Mendoza; her brother Philip Mendoza; her half-sister Andrea Villarreal; her son-in-law Gary Sawyer; and her niece Patricia Ann "Wezie" Melchor Albertson.

She is survived by: her children, Lori Trevino of Port Clinton, David Trevino of Findlay, Sophia Sawyer of Wichita, KS and Anthony Trevino (Elizabeth) of Findlay; her sisters, Delores Arriaga (Lupe) of Gibsonburg and Susie Ashton (Steve) of Port Clinton; her half-brother Lonnie Mendoza (Jean) of Gibsonburg; her grandchildren, Dominic, Leo, Samantha, Sydney, Esteban, Vincent, Kayla, Mia and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Savannah, Jaxx and Tank.
