He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent C. Seethaler and Marion E. Hunter; and his stepson Todd Montague. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Seethaler; his sons, Ken (Jennie Harris), Matt Seethaler, Dan Seethaler (Lori Ray) and Jon (Sally Seethaler); and his stepchildren, Brett, Lorie Montague, LeeAnn, Tom Bird, Jill and Troy Long. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Don's memory to a local animal shelter or animal rescue organization, honoring his lifelong love for animals.
