With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earnest J. Davis of Findlay, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Davis and Gladys Faye Davis (Layne); and his siblings, Boyd, Geneva, Eva Jo, Adah and Adron.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Davis; his children, Jay Davis (Sandy), Valerie Swisher (Shane) and Theresa Harvey (Tony); his grandchildren, Amanda Thompson (Wayne), Chris Davis (Casey), Amber Davis, Cody Patterson (Tiffany), Corey Swisher (Patience), Dylan Swisher, Andrew Swisher and Blake Swisher; his great grandchildren, Abby Thompson, Andrea Lewis, Maverick Patterson, Amethyst Thompson, Paxton Coslett, Brycen Geyer-Speer, Damon Patterson and Luna Patterson; and his sisters, Wanda Nickelson (Jim), Glenna Niederkohr (Buster), Nola Brown (Richard) and Peggy Ehrhart (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ernie's honor to his wife, Bev Davis.
