He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Altman and Martha Altman (Griep); and his wife Linda Fiser. He is survived by: his children, David R. Altman (Alaina) of Arlington and Susan R. Wittenmyer of Findlay; his siblings, Connie Groseclose (Barry) of Mount Vernon, Joyce Hershberger (Eli) of Carey, Diane Altman of Kenton and Randy Altman (Janet) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Ava, Evan Altman, Tobey and Laurey Wittenmyer; Hershey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home (500 Lima Ave, Findlay, OH 45840). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
