Gary Lannes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Lannes of Findlay, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lannes and Evelyn Lannes (Leighty); and his wife Marilyn Lannes (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Michael Gary Lannes of Houston, TX, Chad Alan Lannes (Rizza) of Mason and Melissa Lowman of Findlay; and his stepchildren, James Dean (Anne) of Columbus and Julie McIntosh (Bill) of Findlay. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
