He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Laube and Dorothy Laube; his wife Jane R. Laube (Haferd) of Carey; his sons, Charles Daniel Laube, John Laube and Richard Laube (Sandy Neumeister); his son-in-law Mark Heitmeyer; his brother Joe Laube; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Laube, Margaret Haferd, Angela Haferd and Mary; his pet Creagh; and his brothers-in-law, Franklin Haferd, David Haferd and John Creagh.

He is survived by: his children, Denny Laube (Jodee Philo), Carolyn Heitmeyer and Dave Laube (Deb); his grandchildren, Mike Shade (Chrissy), Steve Shade (Grace), Ashley Benedict and Shelby Cumberledge (Mike); his great grandchildren, Amelia, Eleanor Shade, Avery, Drew Benedict, Rowan and Beckett Cumberledge; and his brother David Laube (Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
