He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kring and Della Kring (Shoup). He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Perry; his daughters, Lisa Beegle (Bret) and Tina Woods (Tom); his stepson Michael Johnson (Stacey); his grandchildren, Braydon, Skylar, Amanda, Lee, Hope and Carter; and his siblings, Ted Kring (Jeanine), Barb Rader (Larry), Janet Lyons, Hazel Bash (Roger) and Renee Hoy (Alan).
