She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis E. Minutti and Kathleen M. Minutti; and her siblings, Frances Burrows and Edmund E. Minutti. She is survived by: her son David A. Basil (Deborah) of Hudson; her grandsons, Christopher A. Basil (Amanda) of Hudson and Jonathan B. Basil of Summerville, SC; her great grandchildren, Hunter and Theodore; and her sister Muriella V. Conant of Cincinnati. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials in Irene's name be made through the Arbor Day Foundation Memorial Tree Program.
