He was predeceased by: his parents, Teresa Mulroney and John T. Mulroney, Sr.; his sister Teresa Palumbo (Nick); and his son Jim, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marna Mulroney; his siblings, John Mulroney, Marie Saile (John), Mark Mulroney (Joann) and Nancy Seader (Mike); his daughter Kristine Ziller (Jason); his stepdaughters, Traci Morgan and Heather Pishalski (Aaron); his grandchildren, Emma, JJ, Peyton Ziller, Tyler Becker, Devon Pishalski (Janelle), Ryan Pishalski (Angela) and Kaylee Douglas (Aristotle); and his great grandchild Avani Douglas.
