She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard B. Wittenmyer; her son James B. Wittenmyer; her siblings, Chris MacDonald of Bowling Green, OH, Angela Andreshak (Guido) of Bowling Green, OH, David MacDonald of Los Lunas, NM and Kevin MacDonald (Libby) of Findlay; her parents, James K. MacDonald and Virginia A. MacDonald; her sibling Mac Maids; and her son James Burton. She was also cherished by 9 nieces and nephews; and 9 great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jane's honor may be made to the James B. Wittenmyer College Fund at any Huntington Bank (as of March 11, 2019), Bridge Home Health & Hospice, or to a charity of the Donor's choice.
