He was predeceased by: his grandfather Honey'; his parents, William Cecil and Jennie Thomas (Nye); his siblings, Donald Thomas and Connie McDowell; his siblings-in-law, Leon McDowell, Chuck McGuire, Bill Doolittle and Betty Thomas; and his grandson-in-law Andrew Keller.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Jeannie" Simon; his children, Charles Thomas (Cathy), Julie Davidson (William), Deb Oswald (Robert) and Kim Janes (Jim); his grandchildren, Christopher Thomas, Ryan Thomas (Amy), Joshua Thomas (Courtney), Billy Roy Davidson (Anne), Kelly Keller, Tracy Kimmet (Jim), Jeff Janes (Krissy), John Janes and Trisha Janes; his sisters, Linda Doolittle and Jean McGuire; and his sister-in-law Mary Thomas. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jimmie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the Department of Veterans Affairs.
