He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Meyer and Alfred Meyer; his brothers, Bob, Norm, Jim (Rita), Richard and Tom; and his in-laws, John Hoorman, David Maas, Harold Reinhart (Betty), Earl Reinhart, Maurice Reinhart (Barb), Wayne Biller, Helen Reineck, Angela Reinhart and Kate Reinhart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Best (Bill), Joyce Meyer, Janet Johnson (Tom), Karen Hergenreder (Jerry) and Judy Felix (Tim); his grandchildren, Bridgette Betlem (Dusty), Andrew Johnson (Billie), Bill Best, Joshua Felix (Jordyn), Elizabeth Johnson, Joe Hergenreder (Rachael), Michael Best, Kevin Best (Eliza), Katelyn Felix (Tyler Conway), Julianna Schloz (Tim), Jillian Jones (Justin), Sarah Markley (Matthew), Sophie Johnson (Gryphon Barnes) and Kelly Felix; his great grandchildren, Eliza, Hayden (Trinity), Athena, Emma, Mark, Jack, Silas, John, Emmaline, Brooklyn, Johnathan, Joey, Madelyn, Callum and Dylan; his siblings, Marie Hoorman, Alice Maas, Bill Meyer (Kate), Elmer Meyer (Sharon) and Frank Meyer; and his in-laws, Carol Meyer, Janet Meyer, Sharon Meyer, Pat Meyer, Mildred Biller, Hank Reineck, Francis Reinhart, Silverius Reinhart, Alvin Reinhart and Ralph Reinhart.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (750 Bright Rd, Findlay, OH 45850). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
