He was predeceased by: his father Paul Maag; his former wife Trisha Thompson; his stepfather Danny Vermillion; and his brother-in-law Mike Stall. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Vermillion of Findlay; his sons, Joseph Thompson and John Ray Maag, Jr.; his stepson Drew Ramm; his siblings, Dennis, Robert, Kenny, Willie, Thomas Maag, Diane Hartman (Rocky), Betty Drain, Judy Heitmeyer and Sally Ingram (Scott); his granddaughter Lyla Kincaid; and his girlfriend Annette DeAmicis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
