He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Nidek and Mary Nidek; his wife Karen Sue Lammers; and his son Michael James. He is survived by : his daughter Kristina Friese (John) of Findlay; his sister Judy Adams (Jack); and his grandsons, Michael, Nathan and Sam.

Donations may be made to the Mount Blanchard Community Swimming Pool in Mike's name.
