We announce the death of Marlene Rae Rayl of Findlay, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 90. Marlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marlene will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marlene will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marlene’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bert Rayl; and her parents, Morton Lee and Mable Bame Lee. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Marna Rayl Greenberg and Brent Rayl; her grandchildren, Dr. Garred Greenberg and Dr. Megan Greenberg; her stepgrandchildren, Greg and Jill; and her great grandchild Matthew.
The family will be celebrating her life privately and ask that donations in her memory be offered to the MTNA Foundation Fund (https://www.mtnafoundation.org) or the University of Findlay.
