She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Horn and Donna Horn (Roof); her daughter Tami Simon; and her sister Judy Hankins. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Kern Sr.; her children, Gary Kern (Jessi) of Findlay and Karen Kern (Devon Fleischmann) of Huntington Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Dustin Simon (Kelsey) and Coltin Simon; her siblings, Laura Mauer (Gary), Bev Horn and Jim Horn; and her close friends, Connie Graves, Lynette Parker and Faye Williamson.
