He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Kurtz and Patricia Kurtz (Beckwith); his brothers, Ralph and Daniel Kurtz; and his siblings-in-law, Penny Kurtz and Bob Grubb.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Tiell; his daughters, Amanda Temchin (Evan) of Findlay, Bridget Kurtz of Rawson and Laura Kurtz of Findlay; his grandchildren, Lorelai, Kathryn and Lukas; his siblings, Donald of Findlay, Ernie Kurtz of Findlay, Aletha Grubb of Mt. Blanchard and Trisha Biernacki of Fostoria; and his sister-in-law Cassie Kurtz.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home (205 W Sandusky St, Findlay, OH 45840).
