He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael F. Scasny and Dorothy L. Scasny (Brink). He is survived by: his wife Denise Conrad; his daughters, Mindy L. Brooker of McComb and Nicole M. Brooker of Findlay; his grandson Carson D. Brooker-Thomas; and his siblings, Michael F. Scasny Jr., Dennis P. Scasny, Timothy J. Scasny, Rob A. Scasny, Shawn S. Scasny, Kevin D. Scasny, Beth Shonts, Cindy L. Watson and Becky S. Lauger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
