He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Joseph Saltzman Sr. and Priscilla Rose Saltzman (Miller); his wife Kathy Saltzman (Gaertner); and his siblings, John Joseph "Joe" Saltzman Jr. and Suzanna "Suzy" Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Hutchins of Perrysburg, Ohio, Joshua Saltzman (Jacqueline) of Land O' Lakes, Florida, James "Jim" Saltzman (Ashley) of Vanlue, Ohio and Timothy "Tim" Saltzman (Aleta) of Findlay, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Nicholas, Natalie, Destiney, Makayla, Bryant, Braydon, Evan, Landon, Laine, Makenna, Connor, Adelei and Annistyn; his great grandchildren, Ryken and Barrett; and his siblings, Calvin Saltzman, Diana Armstrong (Phil), Nancy Powell (Ken), Jane Kirian (Dean), Linda Mikkelsen, Mark Saltzman (Charlotte) and Judy Alfred (Norris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Independence Church (22876 US-224, Fostoria, OH 44830). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to 50 North in Findlay, Ohio.
