He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Scoby and Genevra Scoby (Brown); and his brother John W. Scoby. He is survived by: his wife Sondra K. Sausser; his daughters, Myda Jane Broadway (Roger) of Camarillo, CA and Virgina Lee Orwick of Findlay, OH; his brother Thomas Scoby (Carol) of Circleville, OH.; his grandchildren, Heather Patterson, Myda Turner, Holly Stephen, Rob Orwick and Jason Orwick; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kristen, Jakob, Zoe, Alex, Mitchell, Nathan, Brooklyn, Taylor, Carter and Serena; and his great great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cole, Caroline and Jameson.

Richard's family wishes all friends and loved ones good health, yet due to COVID 19, the family will be practicing social distancing and requests all guests to please wear a mask or face covering while in attendance to all services.
