He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Dowler McCord and Lawrence Norman McCord; his wife Lynn Joy Grosshans; his children, Don (Merrie) of Findlay, Ohio and Cherie (Merzbacher) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Collin McCord, Connor McCord, Chad Merzbacher and Caitlyn Merzbacher; and his sister Margaret Prien.
