He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Horvath and Thresa D. Horvath (Taper); his parents-in-law, Russell and Marjorie Essinger; and his godfather Edward Horvath.
He is survived by: his wife Joanie; his daughter Crystal Marie Schimmoeller (Horvath); his son-in-law Jason Schimmoeller of Findlay; his grandchildren, Zoie Pernell (Maleek), Ethan, Mackenzie, Marlissa and Pyper Schimmoeller; his great grandchildren, Ky'airra and Mathew Pernell; his brother Alan Richard Horvath of Pensacola, FL.; and his friend Margaret Urbas of Canonsburg, PA.
