He was predeceased by: his parents, Deane Shamp and Kathleen Shamp (Sterling); his children, Robert M. "Bobby" Shamp, II and Jennifer Perkins; and his sister Nancy Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Kuhlman (Rider); his sons, Jeff Kuhlman of North Baltimore and Randy Scott Shamp of Findlay; his sisters, Caris Thompson of Arizona, Kathy Rock (Harry) of Fostoria and Darlene Leger (Eddie) of North Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Amber Pilcher, Holly Kelley, Jessica Leeper, Deanna Perkins and Bryten Perkins. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
