He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Ruffell and Francis Ruffell (Church); his children, Carol Ruffell Andrews (Michael) and Alan R. Ruffell (Janet); his wife Ruth Anna Russell; and his sons, David Russell (Elaine) and Dennis Ruffell (Denise). He was also cherished by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.
