He was predeceased by: his father Richard E. Myers; his close friend Daniel Lee Oswald; his aunt Catherine Myers; and his uncle Raymond Conkey. He is survived by: his mother Edith B. Myers (Rupert); his siblings, Donald A. Myers (Kim) of Richmond, Timothy E. Myers (Carla) of Findlay, Ohio, Ronda Lynn Giesey (Mark) of Lexington and Judith A. Essinger (Rick) of Pandora, Ohio; his uncle Allen Myers of McComb, Ohio; and his aunt Patricia Conkey of Dublin, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous cousins and 11 nieces and nephews.
