He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Thomas and Leota Thomas (Haide); his children, Michael and Kathy Anderson; and his siblings, Colleen Bish and Jerry Thomas (Virginia).
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Moffitt; his son Gregory A. Thomas (Carol); and his grandchildren, Lynne Anne Hayosh (Randy), Brad Thomas (Erin), Todd Thomas (Shannon), Ashley McKinnon (Ryan), Gabe Anderson (Sara) and Graham Anderson (Amanda). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
