William E. Chubb Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William E. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cody and Maude Chubb (Bell); his sister Marian Chubb; and his son William David (Jayme). He is survived by: his sisters, Kathleen McColley, Dorothy Vocke and Marjorie Turko; his wife Mary Ann Katherine Meineke; his sons, Tom of Denver, Phil (Becky) of Charlotte, Bruce of Findlay and Chip (Natalie) of Columbus, Ohio; and his grandchildren, William Chubb Robinson (Kelly), Jonathan Chubb Robinson, Ryan Chubb, Erin Wilby (Matt), Catherine Chubb, Emily Ciepcielinski (Drew), Kristen Brobst (Cameron), Janie Chubb, Tyler Chubb, Abigail Chubb and Caroline Chubb. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Bill's "celebration-of-life" service will be delayed indefinitely, after which he will be laid to rest in the Tawa Cemetery near Rawson, Ohio, beside the grave of his eldest son David.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any contributions be made to First Lutheran Church - monthly community dinner, 109 E. Lincoln St, Findlay, OH 45840, or to the charity of the donor's choice, to perpetuate Dr. Chubb's belief in helping those in need.
