He is survived by: his wife Iola Shaver; his children, Denise Cheney (Joe), Raymond Rettig (Michele) and Karen Dauterman (Mark); his daughters-in-law, Molly Rettig (Steve) and Billi Rettig (Beau); his siblings, Calvin Rettig (Charlene) and Ruby Bateson; and his grandchildren, Nicole Oman (Jason), Kari Kempf (Jarod), Jonelle Howard, Stephanie Mull (Jason), Emily Kirsch (Vincent) and Jamey Rettig (Austin Hickman).
