He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Barto and Velma Ethel VanFossen Barto; his wife Sharon Ann Kugler Barto; and his siblings, Patrick Barto, Helen Barto, Sue Cordner, Nancy Lara and Betty Marinacci.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher "Mikey" Barto (Michelle) of Wheeling and Ashley Nicole Barto of Flushing, Ohio; his grandchildren, Andy, Megan Barto, Tennieal Porter and Jyllian Norman; and his brothers, Pete Barto (Henle) and Mark Barto (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
