He was predeceased by: his parents, Darl Hemmerly and Edna D. Hemmerly (Buxton); his son Kenny Hemmerly; his children-in-law, Carol Hemmerly and Bud Lamb; and his siblings, Linda Evans, Phyllis Krischbaum, Vern Hemmerly and Ronald Hemmerly.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Curtin; his children, Deb McKee Forest (Bob), Dan Hord Hemmerly (Kim) and Forest; Frank Krischbaum. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
