He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira W. Gamble and Nettie O. Gamble (Efaw); his siblings, Ralph Gamble (Mary Jo), Glenn Gamble (Rebecca), Don Gamble and Clara Lee Richard (Kenneth); and his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Burd.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Burd of Forest, Carl Gamble II of Forest and Bruce Gamble of Forest; and his sister-in-law Jeri Gamble of North Carolina. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
