It is with sadness that the passing of James E. Broecker of Fort Jennings, Ohio is shared. James, born on July 4, 1945, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Broecker and Lauretta Broecker (Ellerbrock); his wife Jeanette Gerschutz; and his siblings, Don Broecker (Rose), Louis Broecker (Celeste), Ruth Grote (Nub), Charlie Broecker, Roger Broecker and Catherine McGraw (Gene).
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Kobalka (Joe) of Westerville, Shelly Pruden (Pat) of Middle Point, Shawn Heiing of Delphos and Sheri Pugh (Brad) of Pandora; his grandchildren, Crystal (Aaron), Joe (Ashley), Ariel, Brice, Rylee, Dylan, Bryan and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Cailey, Brayden, Dillon and Brendan; his siblings, Betty Miller (Rich) of Ottoville and Paul Broecker (Jo) of Fort Jennings; and his sister-in-law Alice Broecker of Fort Jennings.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Bridge Hospice.
