He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schroeder and Helen Schroeder (Hoffman); his brothers, Kenneth Schroeder and Alan Schroeder; and his brother-in-law Ron VonLehmden.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Leffler, Bruce Schroeder (Mary) and Steve Schroeder (Shannon); his grandchildren, Morgan Schnipke (Aaron), Matthew Schroeder, Macy Slattman (Bret), Monica Schroeder, Heather Schroeder and Tricia Schroeder; his great grandchildren, Talen Slattman, Shay Schnipke, Mallory Slattman and Cole Schnipke; his siblings, Errol Schroeder (Judy) and Mary VonLehmden; and his sisters-in-law, Alma Jean Schroeder and Jan Schroeder.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (135 N Water St, Fort Jennings, OH 45844).
