It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolly Thien of Fort Recovery, Ohio, who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roma Evans and Belva Evans (Brabham); her husband Frank Thien; her children, Wally and Teresa Thien; her siblings, Roma Evans Jr., Harold Evans, Jack Evans, Orville Evans, Josephine VanTrees and Violet Lott; her granddaughter Amy Sue Thien; and her brother-in-law Bob Urpman.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Thien (Sue) of Fort Recovery and Kenny Thien (Judy) of Fort Recovery; her sisters, Charlene Uprman of Apache Junction, Arizona, Eileen Evans of Greenville and Maxine Reynolds of Greenville; her daughter-in-law Doris Sheffer (Phil) of Fort Recovery; and her sister-in-law Sandra Evans of Portland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
