He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Smith and Esta Smith; his wife Joyce Smith; and his brother Kevin Smith. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Schroeder (Evan) of Columbus, Lindsey Smith of Fostoria, Jenna Smith of Fostoria and Andrew Smith of Fostoria; his stepson Eric Bomer (Stacy) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Tyson, Alana Bomer, Lily, Zoe Schroeder, Zane, Luna Durain and Gabe Oldaker.
