She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Piper and Jennie Piper (Baker); her husband Carl "Pete" Painter; her daughter Julie Black; and her son-in-law Bill Black.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Painter (Cathy) of Fostoria, Michael Painter (Pamela) of Fostoria and Jennie Mueller (John) of Mentor; and her brothers, James Piper (Pat) of Toledo and Glen Piper (Janice) of Marblehead. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
