She was predeceased by: her parents, William Couch and Priscella Couch; her husband Norman H. Tarris; her son David Tarris; and her siblings, Laura T. Blake, Edna Mae Hardy, George and James Couch.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Tarris of Fostoria, Mary Tarris of Fostoria and Carolyn Robinson of Fostoria; her grandchildren, Justene, Robert, John, Tony and Mindy Robinson; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Autumn, Matthew, Alex, Landon, Tyler, Myles, Madyson, Maci, Connor and Mason; and her niece Thelma Dube Marsillett (John).

She was our caregiver, our protector, our family's foundation, the anchor that kept us all from sailing away and getting lost in our busy lives.
