He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Yates and Eloise Yates (Savial). He is survived by: his wife Tomett Yates; his children, Trey Yates of Fostoria, Jennifer Reinhart of Fostoria and Jessica Helms (Bryon) of Fostoria; his sister Sandra Lichtenberger (Eddie) of Florida; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Reinhart and Riann Tipple (Braedon); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Meyers-Reinhart and Atley Tipple.
