Raymond A. Saalman Obituary
We announce the death of Raymond A. Saalman of Fostoria, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 92. Raymond will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel A. Saalman and Edna J. Saalman (Holman); his wife Dorothy Kummerer; his sisters, Iola Frey, Regina Bramblett and Martha Frey; and his son-in-law David Theis.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Saalman (Lorraine) of Tiffin, Donnie Saalman (Andrea) of Tiffin, Kerry Saalman (Marybess Hunter) of Kansas, Ohio, Cindy Brickner (Rick) of Fostoria, Penny Theis (Mitch Jacobs) of New Riegel and Nancy Hull (Barry) of Linden, MI; and his brothers, Elsby Saalman of Fostoria and Joseph Saalman (Mary Alice) of Fremont. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ursday Hoffmann-Gottfried Mack Funeral Home & Crematory (236 S Washington St, Tiffin, OH 44883). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Parish (39 N Perry St, New Riegel, OH 44853).
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish or a charity of the donor's choice.
