He was predeceased by: his parents, John Seiler and Julia Seiler; and his daughter Mary Kathleen Seiler. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Julie Hamilton (Rick) of North Ridgeville, OH, Jennifer Wacaser of Raleigh, NC and Richard Seiler Jr. (Rosalie) of Frisco, TX; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Brandon, Ethan, Brianna and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, Ohio.
