It is with sadness that the passing of Steven J. Brubaker of Fostoria, Ohio is shared. Steven, born on January 14, 1954, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Steven is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Steven’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Brubaker and Geraldine M. Brubaker (Calmes); and his brothers, John, Rollen and Rolland Brubaker.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoening & Son Funeral Home - Fostoria (133 W Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A vigil service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A committal service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery (765 Van Buren St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Fostoria 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus for charitable distribution and to Fostoria St. Vincent DePaul.
