He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gowdy (Sheroskey); his children, Rachelle Palac (Anthony) of Vienna and Jared Earl Gowdy (Kaitlin) of Fowler; his sisters, Cheryl Ward (Jim) of Lyndhurst, Barbara Carr (Tom) of Fowler and Nanette Leidich (David) of Fowler; and his pet Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
