He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Shoemaker and Irene E. Houser Shoemaker; his grandson Phillip "Mojo" Rinehart; his sister Donna Seymour; and his wife Ella L. Fisher.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kimberly Angel Rinehart; and his siblings, Debra Miller of Frankfort, Dan Shoemaker of Waverly, Don Shoemaker of West Portsmouth and Seth Shoemaker (Sue) of Greenfield.
