With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail S. Stegbauer Hitch of Frankfort, Ohio, born in Wilmington, Ohio, who passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Stegbauer and Christeen Douglas Stegbauer. She is survived by : her husband William E. Hitch; her daughters, April Smith (Chad) of New Holland and Gwen Laurens of Washington, C. H.; her stepdaughter Leslie Azbell (Jason) of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Smith (Justin), Britney Smith and Will Long; her great grandchildren, Liam Leisure and Coleson Smith; her brothers, Peter Stegbauer (Cindy) of Lynchburg, Timothy Stegbauer (Linda) of Lynchburg and Russell Stegbauer (Cathy) of Lynchburg; and her pet Doodle.
