She was predeceased by: her parents, Zennie Forcum and Daisy Trenner Forcum; her son Gary Wayne Butler; and her siblings, Ernest, George, Kenny, Bob, Ruth Forcum Blazer, Louise Forcum Brown, Bernice Forcum DeTillion and Mary Ethel Forcum.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Butler (Bob); her daughters, Sharon R. Bowdle (Danny) and Cathy L. Sparks; her grandchildren, Stacey Peters (Bobby), Jamie Bowdle (Amanda), Sarah and Mackenzie Sparks; Caitlin Peters, Case Bowdle and Carson Bowdle.

Ruby worked at many different jobs during her high school years, but her love was the Foundation of Family.
